I am against non-hosted short-term rental. There has been severe issues of noise and illegal parking next to fire hydrants and exceeding the occupancy law for the number of people that can be in a party gathering. e.g reported incidents of performing weddings in short term rentals that have exceeded the number of people. According to the city ordinance any large groups need to have a permit and insurance coverage for a day event. Due to lack of police funding there will be no assistance on safety for the residents that are compromised by short term rentals. Unfortunately the short term owners on rental of their airBnB some have not respected the city ordinance nor considered that it might inconvenience their neighbors peace. Therefore I vote no.
